Water Polo Australia and Belgravia Group announce partnership to promote long-term growth for water polo
Water Polo Australia (WPA) is excited to announce a ground-breaking partnership with Belgravia Group, creating opportunities and benefits for members and enabling long-term participation and business growth for the sport of water polo.
Water Polo Australia believes the partnership with Belgravia Group will boost the organisation’s capacity to raise the profile of the sport of water polo in Australia, whilst creating significant benefits for members.“Water Polo Australia is excited to announce the partnership with Belgravia Group and more importantly thrilled that the relationship means greater opportunities and benefits for the water polo community can be rolled out across the country,” said Water Polo Australia CEO Richard McInnes.
Water Polo Australia’s partnership with Belgravia Group will directly benefit WPA members through increased access to water polo activities in Belgravia Leisure’s popular Learn to Swim programs and other swimming programs. The partnership will also create pathways into the sport and clubs.
The expansion of participation and athlete support programs aimed at raising the profile of water polo and increasing its appeal in the community will also benefit members in the long term.
“With WPA and Belgravia Group working together to develop benefits for individual members and clubs as well as expanding delivery of water polo participation programs and athlete support programs across Belgravia-managed facilities, together we aim to see an increase in awareness of water polo outside the water polo community, translating to a long-term growth of the sport,” said McInnes.

To celebrate the launch of the partnership, Belgravia Group will be providing Water Polo Australia members with complimentary access to the Home Fitness Network – your online support and motivation to keep active and moving during temporary lockdowns. Usually $7.50 per week, Water Polo Australia members can enjoy access to
over 100 streamable workouts for adults, kids and ageless actives! Members will receive log-in advice this week to get started.
In addition, access to the Belgravia Foundation’s Mental Health eLearning Program (MHeLP) – an online resource that equips the learner to better understand their own and others mental health and improves their confidence to support someone living with a mental health condition – will be available to Water Polo Australia members.
